The Timanfaya Palace

We have stayed at the Timanfaya Palace many times - 93 nights in all.

It is a beautiful 'adults only' beachfront hotel that serves wonderful food. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and quiet and the outdoor pools are magnificent - if cold. There is a covered pool, which is heated and a gym, and plenty of sun loungers for guests.

It is located in a quiet area of Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. A promenade passes between the seaview grounds and the rocky beach seafront. You can exit the hotel gates and, turning left, walk along this paved walkway into the town of Playa Blanca or, if you turn right, you can walk along to the lighthouse. The route into Play Blanca takes you past hotels, shops and bars and takes about 90 minutes to leisurely walk the length of it.
